Today we had another of our internal training sessions, for which our doctors kindly make themselves available on a regular basis. The topic: vaginal infections.

Complaints that indicate an infection in the intimate area are a frequent reason for visiting the gynaecologist. So we staff at the reception are often confronted with questions already when making an appointment, which we naturally want to answer competently.

So this time we could get started ourselves: Is a fungal infection a venereal disease? Does my partner have to be treated as well? How can I prevent it if it constantly burns and itches? Does a chlamydia infection mean that my partner has cheated? The list of questions was long and could not be completely answered in one session.

So there will be a part two soon - and with it a small team event that we are already really looking forward to!
